Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address, name, and authentication identifiers. When you run a forecast we store the idea text you submit, the structured context you provide (category, stage, budget, planned price, target customer, unfair advantage, biggest concern), and the resulting AI-generated report.

How we use AI

Forecasts are generated by passing your inputs to large language models via the Lovable AI Gateway (currently Google Gemini and OpenAI models). Inputs and outputs are processed transiently by these providers under their respective data policies. We do not use your idea text to train models.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe receives the information necessary to process the transaction (name, email, billing country, card data) under its own privacy policy.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security so only your account can read your forecasts. Access is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can delete any forecast from your account at any time. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us at hello@failure-forecast.app.
